This is a photoshop montage of the Rockpool sculpture and installation I would have displayed for my degree show at Falmouth University 2020, which I was unable to put together psychically due to the pandemic. I had made all the individual parts so was able to create this visual image of what they may have looked like when put together as a complete sculpture. The installation is a hyper-real picturesque rockpool scene filled with both idyllic and deformed creatures, embedded into the floor of an isolated cupboard space. I had planned to display it in a cupboard space, imbeded into the floor, filled with water and featuring blue ambient lighting. The idea was for it to look enticing on first glance but when looked at more closely it would reveal the creatures deformities, such as the anenome with a human eyeball and mussels with animal tongues.
